Can you believe it?
Daily Sage launched on Apple’s App Store on August 18, 2016

For nearly a decade, it has quietly delivered life’s best advice, one day at a time.
Since then, thousands of people around the world have turned to Daily Sage for perspective, a moment of reflection, or to simply set a daily intention. I’m incredibly grateful you’ve chosen to make it part of your life.

A Short Pause
Over the next few weeks, Daily Sage will be taking its first-ever break.
Not because it’s going away, but because this feels like the right time to give the app the thoughtful refresh it’s long deserved.

As with many long-running projects, technology has evolved over the years. Some of the emerging technologies used in the app are now outdated. Some improvements have been waiting patiently on my list (for far too long), and I’ve reached the point where a more meaningful update makes more sense than continuing to layer on small changes.

What’s Changing?
The heart of Daily Sage isn’t changing. It will continue delivering the same timeless wisdom you’ve come to expect.
But this anniversary update is rebuilding the app from the ground up to improve the overall experience while modernizing the technology behind the scenes.

Some of the improvements include:

• A refreshed, modernized, visual design
• Home Screen + Lock Screen Widgets
• Custom delivery times for daily notifications
• And, if all goes well, a complimentary macOS companion app

Most of the work is happening where you can’t see it, but that’s intentional. These improvements aim to make Daily Sage simpler, more reliable, and easier to maintain well into the future.

Looking Ahead
A 10th anniversary feels like the perfect opportunity to invest in Daily Sage’s future.
My goal isn’t to reinvent the app; it’s to refine it. To polish the experience, modernize what needs modernizing, and build a stronger foundation for the next decade.

Thank You
Whether you’ve been with Daily Sage since the beginning or discovered it more recently, thank you for your support. It means more to me than you know.
I appreciate your patience while I put the finishing touches on this anniversary update. I can’t wait to share it with you.

Apple has announced iOS 26, iPadOS 26, and macOS 26 (Tahoe).

Good news: these updates haven’t introduced new issues with my existing apps (phew)!

Daily Sage

Version 1.6.2 continues to run smoothly on iOS 15 through iOS 26 (iPhone and iPad).

I still plan to ship new features, but I don’t have an ETA. (Yes, I know; I’ve been saying that for a while.) Between life’s detours and a companion project in the works (keep an eye out, or sign up for my newsletter 👉🏻), I’m aiming to deliver an update within the coming months. 🤞🏻

TimeCruncher

The current release remains incompatible with iOS 15 and newer, including iOS 26.

Version 2 is still in the works as a complete rewrite with a fresh design and support for Apple’s latest standards. Unfortunately, I don’t have a timeline to share (yet).

Thanks for your patience and for sticking with these apps through each OS cycle — I’m grateful.
